18 litre (5 USG) Kitchen Composter

The 18 litre (5 USG) Kitchen Composter is an airtight container which allows you to transform all food waste, including bread, meat, fish and cheese into nutrient rich compost. This kitchen composter includes a compost activator called Bokashi Bran, a material that has been prepared with EM, naturally occurring microorganisms, that allows the waste to safely ferment and be composted into nutrient rich soil. The Bokashi Bran is a pleasant smelling product that keeps the composter from producing adverse smells, so the composter can be stored in the kitchen or under the sink in your home.  In addition, the liquid waste produced from the compost is trapped in a sieve at the bottom and can be drained from the valve in the front of the composter to be used for watering your garden or house plants. This liquid waste is beneficial to the soil and helps produce stronger root systems for your plants.
