How awesome is this that smarterbynature grew their first fresh pineapple from the top off of a grocery store pineapple! We love regrowing things to keep the harvest growing. Have you ever grown a pineapple from a crown? If not, do you have a favorite thing to re-grow from store bought produce?

For the first time ever we grew pineapple!🍍✨ Don’t judge me, but truth be told, we got the original fruit from the grocery store😂 We saw on YouTube that you could grow these from the cutting of a previous fruit and decided to see for ourselves, and it worked! • To grow your own pineapple, you just take a pineapple fruit from the store, cut the top off, peal the leaves leaving about 4 or 5 on the crown and place it in a small container of water(2-3cups) and BAM💥 You got pineapples!🍍 No lie though, these babies take a long time to grow lol. We started this plant 4yrs ago and it’s just now reaching this size. Talk about patience! • As avid plant lovers, we never hesitate to experiment and try growing new things. Most people don’t know that you can grow tons of fruits and veggies by shopping at your local market! Like most aspects in life, the best fruit usually takes a bit of patience to cultivate but the reward is well worth the wait! We encourage y’all to try new fruits and veggies and we wish you a prosperous growing season.🙌🏾🍍💯🌱💚✨ • • • #pineapple #pineapples #fruit #growyourown #notill #permaculture #vegan #food #grow #growingfood #growth #gardening #sustainable #tallahassee #famu #quincy #blackfarmers #smallscalefarming #regenerativeagriculture #regenerativefarming #regenerative #plants #planting #patience
