Why you should plant fruit trees in fall

As fall is just around the corner, it is the perfect time to plant fruit trees! The cooler weather and the shorter days make it the best time of the year for growing fruit trees. During the fall they are able to grow and establish themselves so that in the spring, the trees can focus on producing fruit.

When choosing a fruit tree it is important to make sure that they are hardy in your zone. Apple trees are very popular because they are able to grow in zones 3-9. So many people are able to grow apple trees making it a great choice for a variety of people in different zones!
